Think of this class like a paint and sip party...with an edge (hehe because you will be using sharp tools)!! Learn the art of sgraffito- a ceramic decorating technique where you carve through a layer of slip (a liquid clay mixture) to reveal the clay body underneath. You can create patterns, figures and all sorts of fun designs. During the class you will try your hand at sgraffito on pre-made clay coasters while sipping on a tasty beverage (wine, beer or a n/a drink) provided by the studio. All necessary clay and tools will be provided. Finished work will be ready for pick up in approximately 4-6 weeks.
